With the tagline “Dream Big”, Marty Supreme is doing just that. With the biggest budget for an A24 film ever, the movie is set to be A24’s biggest film of all time. It is clear something is brewing at A24, with an insane marketing campaign that so far has seen Timothée Chalamet as the first person to be on top of the Las Vegas Sphere, which was topically converted into a Marty Supreme ping pong ball, as well as pop-up events that sold limited edition Marty Supreme jackets, director Josh Safdie and the marketing team behind the film are pulling out all the cards to push not only Chalamet into the pole position for Oscar consideration, but the film into box office success.

Now, Marty Supreme has opened in six theatres across America before going worldwide on Christmas Day. These six theatres have grossed an impressive $874,998 so far, meaning that Marty Supreme opens limited with a per theatre average of $145,833, the best of the decade, the second best in the last 10 years, and the tenth best since the turn of the millennium.

It is only beaten by Brother Bear at $145,970pt, PTA’s The Master at $147,262pt, American Sniper at $158,364pt, Atlantis: The Lost Empire at $164,505pt, La La Land at $176,220pt, The Grand Budapest Hotel at $202,791pt, Red State at $204,230pt, Frozen at $243,390pt, and The Princess and the Frog at $393,095.

Marty Supreme is set to go wide on December 25th, 2025, Christmas Day. The film is directed by Josh Safdie and stars Timothée Chalamet, Odessa A’Zion, Tyler, the Creator, Fran Drescher, Gwyneth Paltrow, Abel Ferrera, Kevin O’Leary, Fred Hechinger, and many more.
