M. Night Shyamalan’s Next Film With Jake Gyllenhaal is Titled ‘Remain’

New details have emerged on M. Night Shyamalan’s next film, which will star Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Oscar-nominated 54-year-old director is famous for directing thrillers such as The Sixth Sense, Split, Signs, and last year’s Trap, starring Josh Hartnett, which followed a father and his teenage daughter who realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event while watching a concert.

The director shared last September on Instagram that he had been writing his 17th feature film as he shared some of his routines for the writing process he goes through for each one of his films:

“As a ritual for each film, I pick a notebook that speaks to me, and I write notes and ideas for the new film in that. When it’s overflowing with ideas, I go to outline the script. This is the notebook for movie 17! This bright red felt just right!”

Regarding his 17th feature, though, some new details have dropped on it recently.
