Rap artist Lil Uzi Vert is ready to make a return to hip-hop with the release of a trailer for their upcoming Eternal Atake 2 album.
Despite an album from Lil Uzi Vert releasing a little over a year ago, fans have been eagerly waiting for a follow-up to what has become a poorly received album (Pink Tape). Now it seems that Symere Woods (LUV’s real name) is back for more with a teaser track, an album cover, and an album trailer for the upcoming Eternal Atake 2 album.
Yesterday, the artist dropped a 30-second teaser titled “Uzi The Earthling (TV Show Theme)”. You can listen to that track below via Spotify:
Now, it seems the album rollout is exponential with Uzi reactivating on social media, dropping an album cover and album trailer all in one day. The album cover depicts a crowd of purple women with glowing eyes. The trailer takes things a step further and implies these purple women have been holding Uzi (or their character) captive, keeping them in a matrix before Uzi wakes up in the generation. You can see that trailer, directed by Gibson Hazard, below.
Lil Uzi Vert is best known for the songs “20 Min”, “XO Tour Llif3”, and “The Way Life Goes”. You can pre-save and preorder Eternal Atake 2 by clicking this link. Eternal Atake 2 releases on November 1st and will be performed by Lil Uzi Vert as well as some presumed feature artists and is courtesy of Atlantic Records.
