Rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West has dropped the album cover for his upcoming album, titled Bully, as well as a new single.
Last week Ye, the hit rapper best known for his songs “Heartless”, “All Of The Lights”, “Jesus Walks”, and “Stronger” recently announced a new solo album. Titled Bully, it was announced during his recent show in China.
The new song, “Beauty and the Beast”, was released last week publicly via Yeezy.com and the artist’s Instagram account.
Now today (Wednesday, October 23), Kanye dropped a new look at the upcoming album in the form of some official album art. The art, depicting a greyscale face with titanium grills, is an obvious reference to the performing artist. West also revealed that this art was done by Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama.
This isn’t Ye’s first music of the year, with the artist already releasing two other albums, both collaborating with Ty Dolla $ign. Although both Vultures 1 and Vultures 2 were pretty poorly received critically, both albums generated a lot of buzz, appearing high on Billboard’s rankings during their tenure on the chart.
The release of this album leaves the question of whether Vultures 3 will ever be released, with Vultures 2 being far worse received than its predecessor and West having a history of scrapping albums. The last time Ye performed as a solo artist was 2021’s Donda, which was dedicated to his mother.
In terms of Bully, we don’t have a release date for the upcoming album but we do know the songs “Preacher Man” and “Beauty and the Beast” will appear on the album, with the latter seeming to be the lead single.
Bully will be performed by Kanye West.
