The Fortnite x Squid Game collaboration is in full effect from today, here’s everything about Cosmetics, The New Reload Map and more.
With Squid Game on its final season, which is now streaming, Netflix has partnered with Epic Games to bring a multitude of Squid Game themed items into the game which includes numerous cosmetics and a new map on the Fortnite Reload game mode. Today we’ll be taking a look at everything Squid Game that’s available now in Fortnite.
Squid Game premiered on Netflix on September 17th, 2021 and ran for three seasons until June 27, 2025. The series revolves around a secret contest which involves 456 players who are all in financial crises all competing in a series of challenges in the hopes of winning the huge cash prize. The final season is available on Netflix as of today.
The Squid Grounds In Fortnite Reload
One of the largest parts of this collaboration is a new map in Fortnite Reload, the “Squid Grounds” map replaces “Oasis” and will be part of the regular rotation for the foreseeable future, “Oasis” is expected to return at a later date.
With the new map, all player ranks will be reset and there are three new items added to the loot pool, they include the Red-Eye Submachine Gun, Uncommon Boogie Bomb and Itemized Glider Redeploy.
