‘Five Nights At Freddy’s 2’ Set Videos Offer First Official Look At New Location
Prominent ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ Youtubers have given us a new official look at the set of the upcoming sequel.
After months of filming, we now have our first official look on set of the new Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie. The first film in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series released in 2023, and while it was a failure critically, the film still racked up a big $297M at the worldwide box office, boasting the second biggest opening weekend domestically for a video game adaptation. This success of course was in spite of a dual release, streaming same day on Peacock, proving to Blumhouse and Universal that despite the shortcomings with critics, fans were more than pleased with the outing after many years of production woes and rights changes.
The stage was set for the greenlight to be given on a sequel, which was confirmed by Blumhouse in April of last year. During the 10th anniversary celebrations of the original Five Nights at Freddy’s game, fans were given a first taste of what to expect from the next film, confirming that yes, the sequel will adapt the broad strokes of the second game, though it is seemingly not a prequel like its video game counterpart. The photos released offer us our first looks at the early stages of the shiny new Toy animatronics and the dilapidated Withered variants. You can view the images below:
An official poster was also released ahead of filming at NYCC 2024 which you can also view below:
Filming for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 officially began in late October of 2024, though not much information came out early on due to most production taking place on soundstages. It wasn’t until late last month that we got our first peak behind the curtain when once again sets were built in plain view of the public. During the production of the last film, only one pizzeria facade was built for the exterior shots of the film, this go around we got leaks of two sets for the film. While these were also leaked via fans in the area snapping photos, Blumhouse has given YouTubers who were invited to the set by production the greenlight to release vlogs documenting the new exterior sets.

In the videos released by prominent FNAF Youtubers (links redirect to mentioned videos) Dawko, Razzbowski, 8-BitRyan, and Baz, we get our first official glimpse of an overgrown Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria that features Toy Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica on a large sign overhead. The group was also fortunate enough to enter into the limited vestibule area of the facade. Inside are a few posters scattered about the walls and featured on the ground is an image of Toy Freddy’s face. At the facade for the pizzeria from the first movie there were also flyers advertising a “Fazfest” in the city. Hinting at a potential plotline in the film. Production on the film is expected to wrap up at the end of this month with the Youtubers also confirming that they had a chance to film even more, which will be released closer to the film.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will hit theaters on December 5th, 2025. The film is directed by Emma Tammi and stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, and Matthew Lillard. The film is produced by Blumhouse and will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
