Sandra Hüller Rumored for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Role
Sandra Hüller might be the latest Hollywood juggernaut to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Read more inside.
In the past few hours, a rumour has made its way into the spotlight concerning German actress Sandra Hüller joining the cast of Marvel Studios’ upcoming swan song, Avengers: Doomsday.
The rumour stems from the British Stunt Register, which serves as a portfolio for stunt performers from the UK, which so happens to be where Avengers: Doomsday was filmed. Stunt actress Stevie Parker lists that she stunt-doubled for Sandra Hüller in the film, despite this casting being previously unannounced.
Now, other reports are piling in alleging Sandra’s involvement in the fifth Avengers instalment.
“A person I talked to told me about this weeks ago, but I didn’t believe them at the time… let’s just say that Sylvie fans are gonna be real disappointed,” said one Twitter user alleging that the Green Witch whom fans thought was secretly Sophia di Martino’s Loki variant is actually Hüller.

Another account from a redditor posted three months also surfaced, stating “The witch is played by Sandra Hüller btw” on the r/LeaksAndRumors forum.
If this rumour proves to be true, the question arises: who does Hüller actually play in the film, and why are they working for Victor Von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).
Hüller, who broke out with 2023’s Anatomy of a Fall, is no stranger to blockbusters, having starred in this year’s Project Hail Mary, alongside new Marvel star Ryan Gosling, as well as the freshly released Digger, alongside Tom Cruise (who himself was once in contention for the role of Iron Man).

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theatres on December 18, 2026, from directors Joe and Anthony Russo. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Florence Pugh as Yelena, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, and many more.
