‘Fortnite’ X ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Collab Revealed

It’s been a little over a week since Fortnite first began teasing a collaboration with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth solo film starring Tom Holland’s iteration of the friendly neighbourhood hero with a short teaser showing spider webs scattered about and ending on a poster of Spider-Man facing off against Hand Ninjas. Fast forward to July 28th, 2026 where a livestream titled, “An Exclusive Look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day | Spider-Man Returns to Fortnite” was announced, set to air at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET that evening and the full collaboration was finally revealed. The promo which lasts for 2 minutes and 39 seconds opens to our first look at an unmasked Spider-Man with the face closely resembling that of Tom Holland’s, we see a strange purple device on his back and quickly switch to web shooter gameplay. Tom Holland then appears to introduce a new clip, he also mentions that web shooters and outfits inspired by the film are heading to Fortnite. The clip is approximately two minutes long and begins with Peter running from rooftops and diving into the streets as he chases a tank. During this he manages to save a child and prevent the tank from heading straight towards a bus of civilians, once he catches up his Spidey Senses go off and he’s caught in the blast of a rocket knocking him into a car and rolling onto the street.

As he gets back up, he’s immediately hit by a black van which we then learn is being driven by Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher. The two get into an argument and in order to prevent any additional casualties, Peter propels himself towards the van, sending Frank flying right out of it. The van crashes and Spidey continues to chase the tank.

Back in Fortnite, we see Spider-Man use a hero’s landing emote which involves him shooting webs. We then see the Hulk Outfit that was released back in Chapter 4, Season 1 using the “HULK SMASH!” emote which implies that we won’t see a new Hulk Outfit inspired by the film, rather this one will likely return to the Item Shop. Immediately after, we see a glimpse of the Punisher Outfit whose face closely resembles that of Jon Bernthal’s. The promo ends with additional gameplay of the Spider-Man outfit.

To recap, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day collaboration will include a new outfit for Spider-Man and the first appearance of The Punisher in Fortnite (both outfits inspired by the film) and the return of the Chapter 4, Season 1 Hulk Outfit. Per the video’s description, the Web Shooters will return on August 1st and on that same day, there will be a Power Hour.

What Is Spider-Man Brand New Day About?

Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker has essentially abandoned his normal life in favour of his web slinging alter ego, Spider-Man but this comes with a price as his body begins to change. In this new adventure he’ll also encounter a new threat with the ability to control minds. Read the official synopsis below:

“It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves—a powerful villain no one can even see.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Zendaya as Michelle Jones-Watson, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / The Punisher and more. The film hits theatres worldwide on July 31st, 2026.
