After the defeat of the Brigands, Krem of the Yellow Hills is at swordpoint by Ruthye, where she must make a decision: kill Krem in an act of revenge, losing her innocence, or show herself to be of higher moral values and spare his life. Supergirl convinces Ruthye not to kill him, and takes Ruthye’s sword and kills him herself, dedicating his death to justice for Ruthye and her family, as well as Krypto the Super Dog. She stabs him, killing him, and Kara snatches the cure.

She travels back to Ruthye’s planet from the beginning of the movie and gives the antidote to the healer, who injects Krypto with it immediately reinvigorating him, reuniting the powered pooch and the Woman of Tomorrow. The next scene sees the dog frolicking in the grass whilst Supergirl beckons him to join her on his ship. Ruthye announces her intent to start forging swords whilst living with her aunt and uncle, and Supergirl says her Birthday pub crawl is over, but just as the two are about to part ways, Supergirl invites Ruthye to celebrate the rest of her birthday week with her.

Supergirl arrives on Earth, and in Clark Kent’s apartment, reveals to Superman (David Corenswet) that she is going to stick around for a while this visit. Krypto ravages Clark’s kitchen, and recognising that he may have gotten into the chocolate, Clark races to stop the dog.
