‘Fortnite Save the World’ Introduction Missions & Rewards
Here’s what you need to know about the Save The World-themed missions in Battle Royale and the rewards available.
On April 16th, 2026, almost a decade since its initial launch, Fortnite Save The World was made free-to-play for all players on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch 2. Players can access the mode under the “Discover” tab on the main lobby.
To commemorate its launch, Penny and Jess, both heroes from the Save The World mode have appeared on the Battle Royale island alongside a small questline giving players the opportunity to earn the Super Shredder Schematic, which can be used to craft the weapon in the Save The World mode and the Jess Outfit. We’ll discuss the quests and other rewards below:

Note: The Super Shredder service is an interaction with the Jess NPC, The weapon, set at Rare rarity costs 500 Bars with only 5 Super Shredders available for purchase per match.
While the Save The World questline does not show a time limit, we recommend that you try to complete these missions before the end of Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 2 on June 5th, 2026.
