‘Fortnite’ x ‘Overwatch’ Answer The Call Missions & Rewards
Here’s what you need to know about the Overwatch themed missions for Act III of Fortnite showdown. Read about the Fortnite Overwatch collab missions & rewards.
May 14th, 2026 marked Act III of Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 2 Showdown titled “Answer The Call.” This content update introduced a collaboration with the world of Overwatch as Tracer, Mercy, Genji and D.VA arrived on the island to aid in the fight against Team Ice King. The update brings Overwatch inspired items such as Tracer’s Pulse Pistols and Mercy’s Caduceus Staff to the Battle Royale, Reload and Blitz modes and at the King’s Row Tower POI, players can escort a payload to unlock some of these items in their match. In addition to everything mentioned above, the collab also brings a number of missions for players to complete for some free Overwatch inspired cosmetics including a banner icon, emoticon, backbling and pickaxe. We’ll take a look at these missions below:

| Hit an opponent with two different weapons in 3 seconds | 5,000 Season XP |
| Visit 12 named locations | 5,000 Season XP |

These missions will likely stick around until the end of Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 2 on June 5th, 2026. The Genji’s Swift Strike Missions will be available on May 29th, 2026.
