What Happens In The Punisher: One Last Kill Official Trailer?

The trailer which lasts for 1 Minute and 42 Seconds opens with a closeup of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), his hair is grown out and has a beard. Offscreen someone says, “Hey, Frank. How you doing, brother?” The Marvel Television logo appears and we see a wide shot of a bridge, Frank is sat in the middle of an apartment, a bunch of soldiers flicker in and out of frame, as if Frank is imagining them.

The offscreen voice says, “Talk to me.” Frank looks through the peephole of his door where he sees a woman being attacked by a group of thugs. Frank intervenes and uses one of them as a human shield to protect himself from a shotgun blast. “From Writer / Executive Producer Jon Bernthal” appears on screen, the letters have a fiery effect on them. We learn that the offscreen voice is Curtis (Jason R. Moore), he continues, “Tell me what’s going on” he flickers and disappears. “And Writer / Director Reinaldo Marcus Green” appears on screen.

Frank puts a paper flower next to his daughter, Lisa Barbara Castle’s gravestone and sits next to it, we see a flashback where Lisa in their home whispers, “Dad…” We see Frank in a diner, he looks towards a little girl who waves back to him. Curtis continues, “You think God’s going to forgive us for the things we’ve done?” We see a wall filled with clues and persons of interest, Frank walks by holding a gun. In the apartment, Frank notices some liquid flowing into the room through the door, Curtis continues, “I’m not sure about me. But you? You ain’t got a fucking chance.” We see the liquid catching on fire indicating that it’s kerosene.

Frank’s clothing begins to catch on fire, he lets out a scream and runs head-first into the door to escape. “This May” appears on screen and we see Frank on the street, he’s wearing a hoodie and around him is pure chaos. A police car is on fire and people are seen fighting each other. “To Find Peace” pops up on the screen, we see a windmill turning and cut to Frank injured as he hears the child from the diner shout, “Daddy!” Someone is seen carrying her away and Frank charges towards them with a baseball bat. “He Will Lose It” as we cut to Frank on a rooftop facing off against a number of thugs.

In the next shot Frank throws someone from the second floor on an apartment building. Frank is seen walking by a school bus, for a split second we see Frank walking past himself. We cut back to the school bus, he turns around after someone says, “That’s all you got?!” Back at the apartment complex, Frank is facing off with more thugs, he bursts through a door and we see him shoot someone back in the rooftop scene. Blood splatters onto a carousel horse and we see a woman with some blood on her face looking shocked. Frank screams and we cut to him shooting some people in the diner, rescuing the little girl’s family. The final scene of the trailer features a closeup of Frank wearing his tactical gear, focusing on the skull logo. Frank pulls out a knife and we cut to an updated version of the One Last Kill logo. Frank shoots someone outside of Gnucci’s Restaurant and we see the “May 12th” release date.
