‘VisionQuest’ Official Writing Credits

Here are the official writing credits for VisionQuest according to the WGA

VisionQuest is the Marvel Studios’ next live-action series after Daredevil: Born Again Season 2; here are the writing credits and what the writers’ resumes include.

VisionQuest was first reported on all the way back in 2022 with WandaVision headwriter Jac Schaeffer attached as showrunner. It was meant to follow White Vision after the events of WandaVision and saw the return of Paul Bettany as the character.

Then in 2024 it was reported that Jac Schaeffer was no longer involved and that Terry Matalas had taken over as showrunner.

While it is still unclear what the show is truly about, something fans might enjoy is the return of James Spader as Ultron in this series as he reportedly shares a lot of scenes with Bettany’s Vision.

Writer’s Notable Resumes Outside of VisionQuest

Terry Matalas: 12 Monkeys (created and showran for the entire series), Star Trek: Picard (showrunner for seasons 2 and 3), MacGyver (showrunner for season 4).

Cindy Appel: Star Trek: Picard, MacGyver, Heartbeat.

Michael Taylor: Pantheon, Into the Badlands, Battlestar Galactica, Turn: Washington’s Spies.

Christopher Monfette: 12 Monkeys, Star Trek: Picard, 9-1-1.

Matthew Okumura: Star Trek: Picard, Leverage: Redemption, Interior Chinatown, Smallville.

This is the first writing credit for Nicole Falsetti, but she did work with Matalas on Star Trek: Picard as an assistant, according to her IMDb.

As you can see, the one commonality with every writer other than Michael Taylor is Star Trek: Picard. All of them have worked with Matalas on the show and some even on 12 Monkeys, so they have a history of sharing a writer’s room with him.
