‘Fortnite’ Valentines Event: Love & Legends Roadmap Revealed
Here’s our first look at the upcoming Valentine’s Day event happening all month long in Fortnite.
February is the month of love and Fortnite is ready to celebrate all month long with new content coming every few days amongst their various mainline modes including Battle Royale, Reload and OG. Word of the Valentines event began as early as February 1st when Fortnite tweeted “In February, Fortnite wears pink” and then changed their profile picture to match. On February 3rd, they tweeted about the Friend Zone Bubble, an item from the Delulu Game Mode which prevents players from damaging each other while inside the bubble. Finally, on February 4th ahead of the February 5th content update, we received a roadmap for the Valentines Event titled “Love & Legends” which will run all month long and feature a number of events, un-vaulted items and more. Today we’ll discuss everything to expect from the Love & Legends event.
February 6th, 2026 – KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2
On February 6th a new wave of KPop Demon Hunters inspired cosmetics will arrive in the Item Shop including Golden Inspired Outfits for Mira, Zoey and Rumi as well as a Jinu Outfit with Demon Edit Style. The Roadmap also shows a Saja Boys Lightstick which could be another item available in shop or a free reward.
February 7th, 2026 – BR Power Hour #1
On February 7th we’ll have our first BR Power Hour, one of four power hours that will occur throughout the Love & Legends Event. Using the Cartman’s Power Hour as reference, a Power Hour includes the increased spawn rate of key items tied to an event as well as changes to the Storm. For the Love & Legends Event, the storm will turn Pink. Power Hours will also occur on February 14th and February 21st.
February 13th, 2026 – Nitemare Island Returns
On February 13th the Nitemare Island Map returns in Fortnite Reload, this limited time island inspired by Halloween features POIs including: Spooky Suburbs, Retail Ruin, Punishment Patch, Leech Lake, Revenge Reels, Creepy Cabins, Haunted Hamlet, Gravey Gates, Estranged Estate and Terror Turrets. The fifth Fortnite Reload map was last seen during 2025’s Fortnitemares Event.
February 15th, 2026 – OG Ice Storm Event + Ice King Remix
On February 15th, players will be able to relive the Ice Storm event in the Fortnite OG Game Mode. Back in Chapter 1, Season 7 to prevent Polar Peak from melting further the Ice King conjured an Ice Storm which covered the entire Island in snow until the end of the season. The Roadmap also reveals that a Remixed version of the Ice King is coming to Fortnite likely in the Item Shop around the day of the Live Event.
February 19th, 2026 – Return of the DeLorean & Lantern Fest Reload
On February 19th, the DeLorean will return to Fortnite, the vehicle has a special mechanic once players reach a speed of 88 Miles-Per-Hour where you’ll be sent back in time and return to the present with an “OG Chest” which can give players one of many vaulted weapons including: the Hunting Rifle, Pump Shotgun, Minigun, Compact SMH, Infantry Rifle, Lever Action Shotgun and Drum Gun.
It appears that Fortnite Reload will also get a Lantern Fest themed map, Lantern Fest is an event inspired by the Islamic month of Ramadan.
February 23rd, 2026 – The Seven Live Event?
On February 23rd we may see a live event occur centered around the faction known as The Seven and the Dark Voyager as indicated by the Roadmap. It’s hard to say what the event might entail but The Order is currently imprisoned so we may find ourselves helping her escape at some point.
Miscellaneous – Daily Rewards, Cupid’s Crossbow and More.
There are a few other parts of the Love & Legends event that we have to cover including what appears to be a heart-shaped back bling, this could be another free reward that players can earn. Next up is the return of the Cupid’s Crossbow, the weapon can be found in primarily Epic Rarity and does around 68 Damage. Players can expect Daily Rewards during the event seemingly related to free levels, it’s unclear how many levels players will receive throughout the event but it’s recommended that you log in daily to help progress through the game’s various passes. Finally there’s a new variation of the Med-Mist Smoke Grenade, the word “Flow” is seen on the item which could indicate it’s a Flowberry Smoke Grenade. Flowberries grant players a jump boost and give a certain amount of Shield. Details on the following will be revealed when the Love & Legends Event begins on February 5th, 2026.
