Shrinking is back with a new season—here are the episode lengths, titles, and descriptions for Season 3.
Shrinking follows the lives of Jimmy (Jason Segel), a therapist, and his family and friends, including but not limited to his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell), his best friend Brian (Michael Urie), two of his co-workers, Paul (Harrison Ford) and Gaby (Jessica Williams), his next-door neighbors Liz (Christa Miller) and her husband, Derek (Ted McGinley), and last but not least, Sean (Luke Tennie), one of Jimmy’s patients he ends up getting close with.

A grieving therapist starts to tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes to people’s lives – including his own.
The series is created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Segel, and Brett Goldstein. The show airs on Apple TV+.

The reason episode 1 is so much longer than the rest of the series is because it’s a double episode. Instead of doing 12 episodes, the showrunners decided to do an hour-long episode to start the season off.

The series has been renewed for a fourth season, which was reported a day before the series officially aired.
As with all Apple TV shows, episodes drop 6 hours before the official premiere date, so the show releases on January 27th at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST on Apple TV. There is a one-episode premiere, and after that an episode will drop every Tuesday until the finale on April 8th.
