‘Avengers: Doomsday’ X-Men Focused Teaser Leaks Online (Footage Description)

Yet another Avengers: Doomsday teaser has leaked this time, featuring the X-Men—here is everything you need to know, including a footage description for the teaser.

This is trailer number 3 of 4 Avengers: Doomsday teasers set to release with Avatar: Fire and Ash. The first was focused on Steve Rogers, the second was focused on Thor, and this third one is focused on the X-Men. The fourth has yet to be revealed.

Specifically, the three characters that are featured in this teaser are Cyclops (James Marsden), Professor X (Patrick Stewart), and Magneto (Ian McKellen).

We can’t share the video, but here is a footage description:

The trailer opens inside the X-Mansion. We see the hallway of the mansion. Magneto’s voiceover kicks in “Death comes for us all”. Then it cuts to a view from the second floor as he says “That’s all I know for sure”. Then we see a metal sign saying “Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters.”

We see more shots of the X-Mansion as we slowly pan to see a bookshelf and then decoration for the mansion, as Magneto says “The question isn’t whether you are prepared to die. The question is who would you be when you close your eyes?”

We cut to wheels rolling from Professor X’s wheelchair. We then cut to a blurry shot of Magneto with a clear shot of a chessboard. He lifts the king piece with his powers. We then see Professor X and Magneto sitting across from each other as they lay their hands on each other. We cut to their reactions of both smiling.

We cut to a shot of Cyclops outside the X-Mansion. His face is all dirty as he removes his visor. He unleashes his optic blast. In the background there’s rubble all over with some fire behind Cyclops. We also see a massive moving figure, which is likely a Sentinel.

Cyclops is wearing a similar suit to his X-Men ’97 character, with a blue costume and a yellow visor and utility belt, which is also yellow. The only differences to his X-Men ’97 design is the lack of trunks and different colored gloves. We can’t make out what color they are but they aren’t bright so they’re not yellow. They look blue. Professor X wears a leather jacket with the patented X logo with a red outline. Magneto is just wearing a simple jacket on top of a maroon shirt. He has longer hair more akin to the X-Men 97 version of the character.

This is the first footage of action we’ve seen in Avengers: Doomsday, and it’s fitting that it’s Cyclops. Giving a trailer to the X-Men, specifically these three, hints at them being relatively big roles.

This teaser will play in full in theaters at some point in the coming week. The current teaser in theaters is Thor, which is likely to be released online in the coming days.
