‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ Trailer Gives Tommy Shelby One Last Hurrah

Peaky Blinders released all the way back in 2013 on BBC One and lasted six seasons through 2022, following the story of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and the Peaky Blinders, a group of gypsy gangsters who hold a criminal empire in Birmingham, England.
The film’s synopsis reads as follows:
Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders…

The original Peaky Blinders cast is set to return in the film, but new additions include Jay Lycurgo, who collaborated with Murphy on Steve earlier this year, as well as Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and legendary actor Tim Roth.
Tom Harper has now been confirmed as the director of the movie, having previously directed episodes of Peaky Blinders, as well as the Netflix Gal Gadot vehicle Heart of Stone.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is directed by Tom Harper from a script by franchise creator Steven Knight and stars Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Jay Lycurgo, Barry Keoghan, Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck.
