‘Pluribus’ Episode 9 Set To Release Two Days Earlier For Finale

The finale of Pluribus would’ve coincided with Christmas, so it looks like the streamer will move up the episode to avoid the date.

‘Pluribus’ Episode 9 Set To Release Two Days Earlier For Finale

Fans of Pluribus will now only have to wait five days instead of seven for the finale, as it has been moved up two days, so it will release earlier than anticipated.

The episode was originally set to release on December 26th, the day after Christmas. Normally, Apple TV shows release episodes 6 hours earlier than midnight of the official date. This means Pluribus would’ve released on Christmas night at 6 PM PST / 9 PM EST. Apple decided to avoid Christmas and instead chose to be ahead by about a day and a half.

Episode 9, which is the finale, is instead set to release on December 24th. This means it will release on December 23rd at 6 PM PST / 9 PM EST on Apple TV. December 23rd is a Tuesday.

Apple TV did the same thing to avoid being released on Thanksgiving Day. It was released on November 26th instead of the 27th.

What You Need To Know About The ‘Pluribus’ Finale

Pluribus Episode 9 is titled “La Chica o El Mundo.” The image above is from the episode. The episode is 57 minutes long. Here is the description for the episode:

Season finale. Manousos arrives in Albuquerque and complications ensue. Carol visits the last best place on Earth.

“La Chica o El Mundo” in Spanish translates to Your Girl or The World. Your girl likely refers to Zosia (Karolina Wydra) and the world likely refers to saving the world. Both Carol (Rhea Seehorn) and Manuosos (Carlos-Manuel Vesga) share a perspective of believing that the world needs saving from the hive. The title seems to be hinting that Carol must make a choice to save it or not. Perhaps there’s even a hint of a Manuosos ultimatum in the title, with it being said in Spanish. This could always be a misdirect of sorts in classic Pluribus fashion.
