Paul Bettany To Return As Vision In ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’

Last playing the role in 2021’s WandaVision, Paul Bettany has redefined his fame with the role of Vision, the synthetic android. Now, following his tenure as co-lead in WandaVision, he is about to get his own series entitled VisionQuest. That series will pit him, as White Vision, against one of his creators for a second time, Ultron (James Spader).

Now, Paul Bettany, in an interview with The Telegraph has stated he is set to film an Avengers film next year. In an interview with the outlet, the actor stated the folllowing:

“I think I’ve got some Avengers duties next year”

Whilst it is not confirmed that this is Avengers: Secret Wars, it is extremely likely as its improbable his entire character will be added for Avengers: Doomsday pickups.

What Role Will Paul Bettany’s Vision Play In ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’?

His role is completely unknown, so unknown in fact that we don’t even know whether he will be returning as White Vision (an upgraded Vision uploaded with the priors memories), a repaired and resurrected Vision (who had died at the end of Avengers: Infinity War), or even Vision post MCU-reboot at the end of Secret Wars. There is also the possibility he is playing the AI JARVIS, which he originated all the way back in 2008 before the intelligence involved into Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Avengers: Secret Wars is currently expected to star Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Mackie, Letitia Wright, Sadie Sink, and Paul Bettany.
