‘Fortnite’ Blitz, Reload & OG Disabled + Battle Bus Quests
Dark Voyager has destroyed the battle bus and now players must help rebuild it. Here are all the quests and rewards.
The latest season of Fortnite is here. Titled “Pacific Break”, this is the first season of the game’s seventh chapter and it has started off with quite literally a bang. After our heroes defeated The Dark Presence and restored the island of Oninoshima to its former glory in the Zero Hour live event, players were transported to a new island called Golden Coast, inspired heavily by California, specifically Hollywood.
The cinematic trailer, which premiered immediately after the live event showed Jonesy, Unpeely, Human Bill and Meowscles having the time of their lives on the new island but everything took a dark turn when a mysterious spaceship with a Golden Cube logo arrived. Piloted by the Dark Voyager, he immediately made his evil intent clear by destroying the battle bus, our main method of travel to the island since the early days of Chapter 1, Season 1.
The destruction of the battle bus has led to a number of changes to Fortnite including a new method of travel to the island. Players now surf the storm to arrive at the island in Battle Royale, this new method sees players spawn in different locations along the edge of the map which makes each match feel even more unique as players can land at the same location every time.
What about other game modes that use the battle bus you ask? Blitz Royale and Reload have been disabled until December 4th, with Fortnite OG being disabled until the launch of OG Season 7 on December 11th. In the meantime, players now have a series of Battle Bus missions that they can complete for Season XP, An Emote and Back Bling exclusively in Battle Royale. Today we’ll discuss the various missions, how long you have to complete it and everything up for grabs.
