Filming Wraps On ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ Season 4
Production has wrapped on the fourth and final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Only weeks after The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 finished airing on AMC, the fourth season has completed production. The news was announced by Daryl Dixon himself, Norman Reedus, who has now played the character over the span of 16 years. In a post to his social media, he posted an image of himself as the character with the caption:
“Last filming day today for Daryl Dixon. It’s been such a joy for me to play this guy with all of you for this long. I feel really blessed. Truly. Thank you all really from my heart ❤️”
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 ended with Daryl and fellow The Walking Dead alum Carol (Melissa McBride) having yet again no way back to the US. This time, because their boat was set alight whilst in Spain. Presumably, the upcoming season will see them attempt to find another way home.
It is currently unknown whether Daryl Dixon the character is set to return in The Walking Dead universe following this, as there is still other media being released such as The Walking Dead: Dead City, which is currently filming its third season, and More Tales from the Walking Dead Universe, which is still in the development stage. There is also the matter of his reunion with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), the character he left US to search for following Rick’s disappearance at the end of Season 9.
Despite now wrapping production, no additional cast members have been revealed.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 4 stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, Hugo Arbués, and Candela Saitta. The show airs on AMC.
