‘Marvel Rivals’ Reveals First Look At Halloween Skins

The latest Dev Vision is here and Creative Director, Guangguang has shared our first look at some of the skins coming to Marvel Rivals during their Halloween Event in Season 4.5. Starting off we see Marvel Rivals original skins for Peni Parker and Namor themed after the Day of the Dead better known as Día de los Muertos, a multi-day holiday where friends and family honour the ones who have passed away. Meanwhile, Jeff The Land Shark gets a skin where he wears a giant pumpkin that also appears to be a Marvel Rivals original.

Moving on we see two Marvel Cinematic Universe collaborations in the form of Zombie Queen Wanda Maximoff and Blade Knight both who appear in the recently released Marvel Zombies animated series. The spin-off series of the “What If… Zombies” episode sees a new group of survivors trying to cure the zombie virus once and for all. We also see a version of Man-Spider who could be the Peter Parker of the comic’s Earth-666 where the Undead Avengers reside.

While details on how players can obtain these skins have not been released we can assume it’ll function similarly to the Summer event where a group of skins will be earned via a mini-pass / combat chest, a limited time event and the item shop. The Marvel Zombies skins will likely be in the Item Shop while the others will be obtained through the other means mentioned above.

When the Season 4.5 roadmap is released we’ll have a better idea of when the Halloween festivities could begin, look forward to our coverage of those events when the time comes.

Marvel Rivals is developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4 / 5 and the Xbox Series consoles. Season 4.5 begins on October 10th at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET.
