The Rainbow Creature In DC Comics
The character was created by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff. They make their debut in Batman #134 (September, 1960).
The Rainbow Creature rose from a South American volcano and is described as an entity covered in red, yellow, green, and blue stripes. Each stripe represents a different power. Red stripe allows the creature to burn its way through objects, green temporarily traps people in a thin, two-dimensional state. Yellow turns objects into mist and Blue lets the creature emit a freeze ray. Each stripe turns white after its use and can only be replenished by an object of that same color. When Batman and Robin faced off against the Creature, they forced it to use each power, ultimately turning the creature into dust.
The Rainbow Creature In Peacemaker Season 2
When Chris returns to this alternate dimension, the camera focuses on an article from the Evergreen Sentinel with the title “The Top Trio Defeats the Rainbow Creature”. The featured image showcases the creature (with a comic-accurate look) in a forest.
