‘Fortnite OG’ Chapter 1, Season 5 Pass Lineup
Worlds collide yet again with the new OG Pass for the fifth season in Chapter One of Fortnite OG. Here is everything you need to know.
Fortnite Chapter 1, Season 5 introduced a desert region on the map, which returns in this OG Season. Fortnite OG is a battle royale game mode that allows players to experience Fortnite from the beginning with recreations of the original map combined with the modern quality of life features seen in Battle Royale. About two weeks ago, players were able to experience the “Blast Off” live event, the very first live event in Fortnite with a little added twist.
Players can now experience locations such as Paradise Palms, Lazy Links and Viking Village on the map. This season also introduced an entity known as The Cube aka Kevin and per the blog post, players will be able to find the cube on the map (close to Paradise Palm) and players may be able to witness his journey to Loot Lake at a later date. It’s unclear if the effects of the Blast Off event will alter the cube in any way.
In addition to everything listed above, we have a new OG pass featuring reimagined versions of Sun Strider, Drift and Redlin,e all of which appeared in the Chapter 1, Season 5 Battle Pass. Today, we’ll cover which skins you can earn and how many levels are required for each.
How Many Levels Do I Earn To Unlock Each Character?
This season’s OG Pass includes Redline Wrecker, Tide Strider and Riftreaver Drift all of which also include alternate colors as well as cosmetics related to each character. As of last season, the auto-claim feature was removed in place of a “Claim All”, as such we will use the terms “Claim In Order” and “Claim Out of Order” from now on.

In order to complete the OG Pass, players will need to earn 45 levels in total, stay tuned to our level up guide to keep track of playtime xp among other things. The OG Pass is available for 1000 V-Bucks ($8.99 USD) or players can subscribe to Fortnite Crew ($11.99 USD/month) and unlock the OG Pass alongside the new Battle Pass, LEGO Pass and upcoming Music Pass.
