‘Fortnite’: Superman’s Mr Terrific and Engineer Available Now
Justice Gang member, Mr. Terrific and Authority member The Engineer hit the Fortnite item shop ahead of James Gunn’s Superman.
This week, Superman flies into theatres worldwide to open the gates of the all new DC Universe (DCU). Superman is set in a world where metahumans have been around for at least 300 years, the film follows Clark Kent’s (David Corenswet) journey into this world as he does everything to can to be a force of good but his actions attracts the attention of Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) who wants to put an end to his deeds.
The Superman collaboration in Fortnite began when Superman was announced as part of the Chapter 6, Season 3 Battle Pass. Players are able to unlock him early by buying the Battle Bundle ahead of his full debut and event on July 11th to coincide with the US Release of the film. Superman isn’t the only hero joining the roster as today we have Mr. Terrific, in the likeness of film actor Edi Gathegi and The Engineer in the likeness of actress María Gabriela de Faría, in the item shop featuring outfits and cosmetics based on the film. Mr Terrific and his cosmetics will be available in a “Mister Terrific” bundle for 2000 V-Bucks (approximately $18 USD). The Engineer and her cosmetics don’t appear to be in a bundle, purchasing them individually will cost 2200 V-Bucks (approximately $23 USD). These Items are available from July 10th at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET until July 24th at 4:59 PM PT / 7:59 PM ET.
Superman is directed by James Gunn and stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, and more. The film hits theaters on July 11th, 2025.
