Official ‘Marvel Rivals’ Season 1 Trailer: Dracula vs. The Fantastic Four!
Dracula has taken control of New York City and it’s up to The Fantastic Four to stop him in the Official Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls trailer.
As Season 0, “Doom’s Rising” comes to a close, NetEase Games has released the official trailer for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals titled “Eternal Night Falls”. You can view the trailer below:
What Happens In The ‘Marvel Rivals’ Trailer?
The trailer opens with the Marvel Games logo followed by the Netease Games logo. We cut to Galacta looking into a reality bubble which shows a Blood Moon followed by narration from Dracula, “You have been sheltered by the light… for far too long”. We cut to a frame of the Sanctum Santorum with bats flying above New York, in the background, Dracula’s castle is visible.
“The time has come to reign”, We see Doctor Strange enter the Sanctum before being thrown into the mirror dimension. We cut to a scene where The Thing lifts up a bus as Dracula says “Soon your resolve will begin to crumble”. “You will be stretched to thin” is said as Mr. Fantastic is seen working on a device, bats fly towards the Baxter Building but are blocked by a shield formed by Invisible Woman.
“There will be nowhere left to hide” as we see a frame of Sue Storm on the roof of the Baxter Building. “And your fire will cease to burn” as Johnny forms the Fantastic Four logo into the sky with his flames. We end the trailer with Dracula saying “for no light shall survive in my Empire of Eternal Night!” as the Fantastic Four group together and charge towards Dracula’s castle. The key-art for the season is then shown.
The official synopsis for the season is as follows:
Darkness engulfs New York as the Timestream Entanglement leaves Doctor Strange trapped in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the Darkhold pages. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, plunging the city into eternal night and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures. With the world on the brink, the Fantastic Four join forces with iconic Marvel heroes, standing together in the epic battle to break the mystical darkness with science. Ignite the battle against Dracula with the Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals!
Marvel Rivals is available for free on Steam, Epic Games, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Season 1 titled “Eternal Night Falls” launches on January 10th, 2025 at 1AM PT / 4AM ET.
