Adam Sandler Returns In First ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Teaser

Adam Sandler fans can end the year on a good note, with the Happy Gilmore 2 teaser being released by Netflix as a Christmas present to fans.

One of the most anticipated raunchy comedies ever, Happy Gilmore 2, is finally beginning promotion. With a stacked cast, including returning cast members and many huge stars from today’s pop culture landscape. Starring Adam Sandler as the titular character, the film will pick up back with the character 30 years following the events of the first film. Watch the teaser below: 

The film follows the return of legendary but angry golfer Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler), who in the first film left the ice rink and channelled his anger onto the green. Although a synopsis is yet to be released, the film will see Happy cross paths once again with Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald), his nemesis seen in the original film. 

The film will see Adam Sandler’s Happy interact with big stars including the likes of Travis Kelce (seen in the teaser), Eminem, Kid Cudi (who will reportedly play an FBI agent), Bad Bunny, Benny Safdie, Nick Swardson, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, John Daly, Conor Sherry, Phillip Fine Schneider, Ethan Cutowsky, and Margaret Qualley. In addition to this all-new all-star cast, Julie Bowen will return for the film, playing Happy’s love interest Virginia Venit. Further, fan favourite character, Orderly Hal will return with legendary comic Ben Stiller tapped to continue playing the role. 

Happy Gilmore 2 is directed by Kyle Newacheck, and stars Adam Sandler as the eponymous hero. Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote the script. The film is set to release on Netflix in 2025.
