‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ Season 2: Details & Trailer Description

Marvel has just ended their Television and Animation panel at the New York Comic Con 2025. In this, fans got exclusive looks and new info about Wonder Man, the upcoming seasons of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, X-Men ‘97, Daredevil: Born Again and a surprise announcement in the form of Vision Quest. Today we’ll cover what was shown for the upcoming second season Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, while season one ended on a rather peaceful note with Peter fully embracing his heroic lifestyle and learning the truth of his powers, the finale also set up lots of new foes for our webhead to face off with. Here are details, and the description for the trailer of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2.

For example we know that after the fight with the symbiotic alien, a piece of it was left behind which opens the doors for Venom, next up Doc Ock was sent to prison and he’s making good use of his time, shrinking his tentacle technology to something a little more wearable. Also Norman was revealed to be working on some new tech in the form of a glider which looks very similar to a certain Green Goblin. There’s also Lonnie Lincoln better known as Tombstone who appears to be getting rather pale after gaining his own set of superpowers.

Additionally, we know that Peter’s father, Richard Parker is in prison. Aunt May even goes to visit him in the final episode. We also know that Daredevil’s story doesn’t seem to be over just yet, during season one he had his suspicions about Oscorp but there’s sure to be lots of other threats in his radar. Last but not least is the WEB initiative which aims to bring together the brightest young minds and allow them to pursue their work without interference. There are some notable candidates such as Ned Leeds and Max Dillon who we know eventually becomes the supervillain Electro.

With all that said, let’s talk about all the reveals for the upcoming season. 

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Release Date And Trailer 

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will premiere in Fall 2026, a little over a year since the first season. The series is one of three Marvel projects that will be released annually for the foreseeable future. 

Attendees also got to witness an exclusive trailer for the upcoming season which features Venom, Gwen Stacy, Daredevil and much more. ScreenRant, who was in attendance gave the following description:

“New vigilante: Spider-Man” on the news. Gwen Stacy introduces herself and takes a selfie with Spidey. Sneaks into Oscorp. Venom goo. “Oh boy.” Doc Ock, Lonnie Lincoln, Nico is doing magic. Doc Ock escaped prison. “We need to show you something.” Daredevil’s back with his protege.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, written by Jeff Trammell, stars Hudson Thames as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn / Green Goblin, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, and more. The second season premieres in Fall 2026 on Disney+.
