‘Wonder Man’ Episode Lengths And Release Dates

Development on Marvel Television’s Wonder Man began as early as December 2021 when Daniel Destin Cretton (known for his work on Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings and the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day) signed a contract with Marvel for a Disney+ series. Six months later, we’d learn that Cretton will direct episodes of Wonder Man with Andrew Guest attached as a co-creator. Find out about the Wonder Man episode lengths and release dates below.

There would be lots of silence on Marvel’s end especially with a television overhaul underway but during an episode of The Official Marvel Podcast the series was finally acknowledged and our first look was shown in a video titled “Marvel Studios | Look Ahead | Disney+”. The series was originally set for a December 2025 release before being shifted to a month later on January 27th, 2026, meaning it’s the first series for the 2026 slate of Marvel projects.

What is ‘Wonder Man’ About?

Wonder Man follows Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) an aspiring actor who after learning that a Wonder Man Remake film is being directed by filmmaker Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić), immediately auditions in the hopes of starring as his childhood hero. He encounters the likes of Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) who’s also up for the role, the two become both friends and rivals as they try to land the part.

The official synopsis is as follows:

Aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams is struggling to get his career off the ground. During a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery, an actor whose biggest roles may be well behind him, Simon learns legendary director Von Kovak is remaking the superhero film “Wonder Man.” These two actors at opposite ends of their careers doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film as audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry.

When Does ‘Wonder Man’ Release?

Wonder Man begins streaming on Disney+ on January 27th, 2026. A release schedule has not been released at this time.

How Long Is Each Episode Of ‘Wonder Man’?

According to Twitter / X account Legado da Marvel (@legadodamarvel), each episode of Wonder Man will be approximately 30 minutes long. The eight-episode series is expected to have a total runtime of about 248 minutes or approximately 4 hours. See the runtimes for each episode below:
