Sasha Bordeaux In DC Comics

Sasha Bordeaux was created by Greg Rucka and Shawn Martinbrough. She makes her debut in Batman: Detective Comics #751 (December 2000).
Sasha began as Bruce Wayne’s bodyguard hired by Wayne Enterprises’ second-in-command, Lucius Fox. While Bruce was against the idea of a bodyguard, Sasha would eventually learn of his secret identity and keep it secret for a while. Once Bruce found out, he began training Sasha as his apprentice.
She and Bruce were framed for murder at one point when assassin David Cain lured Bruce’s girlfriend, Vesper Fairchild to Wayne Manor. The two were sent to Blackgate prison. Bruce would eventually escape and confront David. The two were then free of charges.
During her time in prison, Sasha was wounded to the point of death by another inmate. Then comes Checkmate, who would give her medical treatment and offer her a new life provided she works for them. Sasha agrees and begins rising through the ranks, eventually becoming a right-hand to Maxwell Lord. Prior to this, Batman returns to Blackgate searching for Sasha. Bruce would eventually meet with Sasha and confess his love, however, she turns him down.
Maxwell eventually takes control of Brother I, a sentient satellite used for monitoring superhuman activity and rebellion. Maxwell creates an army of OMACs programmed to hunt and kill all superhumans and or specific targets such as former ally Blue Beetle. Sasha had pretended to be loyal up until that moment, when tasked with disposing of Blue Beetle’s body, she sends his goggles to Batman to warn him of what went down. Brother I eventually alerts Maxwell of Sasha’s betrayal and she is captured. At this time, a brainwashed Superman is sent to kill Batman and Wonder Woman stops this by snapping Maxwell’s neck.

Sasha, with the help of Jessica Midnight escapes custody to kill Maxwell (unaware of his death) but is confronted by an OMAC. She is impaled activating her own OMAC programming which results in her skin now resembling a metallic coating and one of her eyes becoming empty. Additionally, she had free will unlike the other OMACs under Brother I’s control.
With Maxwell gone, Brother I becomes “Brother Eye” still determined to destroy all superhumans. Sasha creates a computer virus and coupled with an EMP blast created by various heroes she’s able to disable a large number of OMACs. Brother Eye however, escapes with about two hundred thousand of them.
Batman with the help of the new Blue Beetle locates Brother Eye. Sasha is tasked with destroying it once and for all. She manages to resist Brother Eye’s brainwashing long enough to blow it up. However, most of her OMAC shell was destroyed in the blast.
Sasha eventually becomes the “Black Queen” of the new Checkmate foundation. Her proactive and cold-blooded nature put her at odds with other high-ranking members such as Alan Scott, Fire and Mister Terrific (whom she is romantically involved with). This nature would eventually subside. Sasha is captured by Chang Tzu who wants to know more about her cybernetic parts and this encounter resulted in her having to regain her confidence as well as become even more cybernetic. When Wonder Woman is put on trial for the death of Maxwell Lord, Sasha manages to deliver exonerating evidence to Wonder Woman’s lawyer, Kate Spencer.
During the Final Crisis, Sasha sacrifices her consciousness to reactivate Brother Eye and the OMAC army to face off against Darkseid’s forces, resulting in her being put in a coma. She eventually resigns from Checkmate shortly after.
Sasha’s OMAC Cybernetics grants her enhancements in all fields such as Strength, Stamina, Speed, Dexterity, Durability, Resistance, Healing and Vision (Infrared Vision & Higher Accuracy). She is also resistant to telepathic abilities.
Sasha also has an advanced understanding of Hand-to-Hand Combat. She is an Espionage Master, Expert Tactician and Strategist, Expert Marksman and is Multilingualistic (speaking both English & Chinese).
Sasha Bordeaux in Peacemaker Season 2

After Economos detects something on his computer, Sasha calls in. She asks John to investigate the anomaly. She reports to Rick Flag Sr who’s now director of ARGUS, she namedrops the “January thing” which we later understand as Chris entering his quantum storage and she compares it to the failed pocket dimension incident involving Lex Luthor in the Superman film which as we now know happens during Summer. Flag refers to it as the Luthor incident. Sasha gets John on the line for Rick and he later assigns her to find an agent to keep tabs on John because Rick doesn’t trust him. He also instructs Sasha to move the Peacemaker anomaly to ARGUS Priority One.
