One of the most iconic duos in all of animation is back, with Netflix’s Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. It’s a claymation animated feature film from Academy Award-winning director Nick Park. It’s also the first film in the franchise since the monumental Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which won an Academy Award back in 2006.
And now we have a trailer for the upcoming film, which premieres later this month at the American Film Institute Film Festival. In the new teaser, Wallace and Gromit are confronted by reporters, one of which labels Wallace as evil. A gnome goes haywire, and a sinister feathered foe, Feathers McGraw returns. You can watch the full minute long teaser below:
A synopsis provided by Netflix reads as follows:
“Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master … or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl stars Ben Whitehead as Wallace, Peter Kay as PC Mackintosh, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry. The film begins streaming on Netflix on January 3, 2025 (excluding the United Kingdom).
