‘ted’ Season 2 Trailer Showcases Stoner Comedy

Peacock’s most popular series, ted, is finally ramping up marketing. Spinning off and serving as a prequel to the Mark Wahlberg Ted duology, the show sees the return of Ted and continues exploring his relationship with his best friend John during their high school years. The synopsis for the second season reads as follows:

It’s 1994, and senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John’s parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and frequently clashes with his liberal niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.

Now, the first trailer for the second season of ted has been released, which you can watch below:

The trailer sees a lot of jokes unfold, surely to be surrounded by many more, ahead of the series’ March 5 return to Peacock.

ted stars Seth MacFarlane as Ted, Max Burkholder as John, Alanna Ubach as Susan, Scott Grimes as Matty, and Giorgia Whigham as Blaire. The series was also created and directed by MacFarlane. Watch the first season below:
