Today Marvel Games held a panel at NYCC to discuss the PC port for Spider-Man 2.
Today Marvel Games had a special presentation at New York Comic-Con revealing details regarding the Spider-Man 2 PC port including the release date and news on additional content.
Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 was given a release date at the event. The sequel to 2018’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales originally launched exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 20th, 2023. You can wishlist the game now before it launches on Steam and Epic Games on January 30th, 2025. You can view the announcement trailer below:
‘Spider-Man 2’ PC Release According to Sony
Per the press release provided by Sony:
We’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version, including New Game+, new suits and color variants, Photo Mode features, and more.
We’re also delighted to announce that the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack, our charity collab with non-profit Gameheads, will be available for PS5 players in October and PC on launch at no additional cost.
These benefits can be found in the Standard version while, similar to the PS5’s Digital Deluxe Edition you’ll receive the following benefits:
- The complete game with updates listed above
- 5 exclusive suits for Peter Parker
- 5 exclusive suits for Miles Morales
- Early unlock for the Arachknight Suit (Peter)
- Early unlock for the Shadow-Spider Suit (Miles)
- Early unlock for the Web Grabber gadget
- +5 skill points
- Additional Photo Mode items
Fans expecting any updates on DLC for the game will be left disappointed as Insomniac has denied the existence of any additional content as stated here: “While we have no additional story content planned for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we’re delighted to bring all of our previously released post-launch content to the PC version”.
Spider-Man 2 is developed by Insomniac Games, the game is available now on PlayStation 5 and launches on PC (via Steam and Epic Games) on January 30th, 2025.
