‘Snow White’ Live-Action Final Runtime Revealed (Exclusive)
We can exclusively report the final runtime of Disney’s ‘Snow White’ live-action remake starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.
Eight years ago it was announced that Disney would be developing a live-action remake for the classic fairytale animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which was released back in 1937 and originally taken from the Brothers Grimm story published back in 1812. Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot are set to star as Snow White and the Evil Queen respectively.
What Is The Film About?
Like mentioned above, the film is a live-action remake of the classic technicolor Disney fairytale which is about the Evil Queen’s jealousy of Snow White’s beauty. The Evil Queen tries to have Snow White killed but discovers that she has found refuge in a cottage with seven dwarfs. The Evil Queen then decides to bring a poisoned apple to Snow White whilst disguised as an old woman. Snow White bites the apple and falls into a death-like coma which can only be broken by a true love’s kiss.
In the new Disney live-action remake there are significant changes such as the seven dwarfs being CGI characters. This comes after the recent controversy of Disney wanting to still adapt the seven dwarfs. 3 years ago Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage commented on the matter on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, calling it “backwards” how the film was still adapting the story of the seven dwarves who live in a cave. Furthermore, the actor added that he would’ve been “all in” if the film had a “cool, progressive spin”.

Afterwards, Disney responded with a statement saying that they were taking a different approach with these seven characters and that they were consulting members of the dwarfism community.
How Long is ‘Snow White’ (2025)?
We can exclusively reveal that the approximate final runtime of Disney’s Snow White live-action remake is 110 minutes, which is longer than the original technicolor animated film by 27 minutes.
Additionally, the film, directed by Marc Webb, marks his return to feature narrative filmmaking since his last two movies Gifted and The Only Living Boy in New York which both released in 2017. Webb is also famous for directing the The Amazing Spider-Man duology, starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and for his feature debut 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, which garnered a huge fan-following and appreciation.

Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, is set to hit theaters this Spring on March 21st.
