Seth Rogen Cast In Craig Gillespie’s ‘Supergirl’
Seth Rogen is set to join the DC Universe with Supergirl, collaborating yet again with Craig Gillespie for a third time.
Craig Gillespie has made fourteen projects over his career. Seven movies and seven shows, and he’s about to release his eighth movie, Supergirl. Now, two different insiders are reporting that Seth Rogen will return for his third collaboration with director Craig Gillespie in Supergirl.
The InSneider’s Jeff Sneider first reported on Rogen’s inclusion in the film as a voice cameo coming off one of the film’s first test screenings. In one of his latest newsletters he stated “I hear there’s a voice cameo from Seth Rogen as well – though he’s not voicing Krypto, just FYI.” He also reported this news on The Hot Mic podcast. This report was backed up and expanded upon by Daniel Richtman (known by his online moniker DanielRPK) who stated in a Twitter subscription scoop, “RPK DC SCOOP … The cameo that Seth Rogen has is this small alien guy who helps run a space bus, he’s kinda funny.”

This isn’t Seth Rogen’s first foray into a Craig Gillespie project, having previously starred in Pam & Tommy as Rand Gauthier, and in Dumb Money as Gabe Plotkin. It’s been a big year for Rogen too, having debuted The Studio season 1, in which he won many Emmy Awards for, as well as starring in Animal Farm, Good Fortune, Platonic season 2, Invincible season 3, and Nobody Wants This season 2.
As for Craig Gillespie, he is currently working on post-production for Supergirl, as well as The Husbands, starring Juno Temple.

Supergirl is directed by Craig Gillespie and stars Milly Alcock as Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Rutheye Marye Knoll, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Corenswet as Superman and Seth Rogen as the Bus Alien.
The film hits theatres on June 26, 2026.
