Ryan Coogler’s untitled vampire thriller has wrapped production and is set to release in theaters on March 7th, 2025.
Four days ago, Ethan McDonald, serving as first assistant camera, posted a picture on his Instagram Story captioned “…that’s a wrap.” This indicates that the filming for the movie lasted just three months and four days.
What Do We Know About The Film?
Earlier this year it was announced that Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan will be reuniting for an original mystery film. The film is rumored to be a vampire thriller period piece, set in the 30’s, with Michael B. Jordan playing a pair of twins. The film also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Jayme Lawson, Wunmi Mosaku, and Omar Benson Miller.
We’ve also learned that the film will be shooting in Kodak 65mm and IMAX film from Autumn Durald Arkapaw’s Instagram (director of photography on the film). In another post she also reveals a picture of the clapperboard marked with some film stock information, but kept hidden.
Additionally, two-time Academy Award winner Ludwig Görranson will be composing the score for the film. Görranson recently won an Academy Award earlier this year for Oppenheimer. Coogler’s untitled film will be his and Görranson’s fifth collaboration together.
When To Expect A Trailer?
Now that filming is complete, when should we expect a teaser trailer? The film is set to be released on March 7th, which means we could get the first teaser with the title soon. We can expect the teaser trailer to release sometime in late August or early September.
