‘Predator: Badlands’ Final Trailer Releases Online
The final trailer for Predator: Badlands is out now.
20th Century Studios has just released the final trailer for Predator: Badlands.
Dan Trachtenberg is on a roll with films in the Predator franchise, having just directed Prey in 2022, and Predator: Killer of Killers earlier this year. Now, we draw closer to the release of his third Predator film, titled Predator: Badlands.
Predator: Badlands is the ninth film in the Predator franchise, whilst also playing into connections with the Alien franchise, as seen with the Weyland-Yutani droids that play central parts in the plot of Badlands. The film is set to release next month, but naturally, studio 20th Century Studios, a division of the Walt Disney Corporation, has dropped the trailer to seemingly play in front of Disney Studios’ TRON: Ares, another decade spanning franchise.
The new trailer was released earlier today, which you can watch below:
The trailer gives further insight into the film, showcasing more of the vicious Predators at the centre of the plot and more of Elle Fanning’s Weyland-Yutani synth, canonizing a connection between Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise and John McTiernan’s Predator franchise.
This connection was made obvious in previous films such as Alien vs. Predator and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem.
Predator: Badlands is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and stars Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi and Elle Fanning. The film is due out in theatres on the first weekend of November, courtesy of 20th Century Studios.
