‘Peacemaker’ Season 2, Episode 5 Teaser: Revenge Is Sweet

Peacemaker has concluded its fourth episode of season two, the episode ended with Chris asking to meet with Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) at a park to ask a very important question. Little does Chris know, Emilia is seemingly betraying him after agreeing to help Rick Flag Sr in capturing Peacemaker. A number of disguised ARGUS agents surround the park waiting for their opportunity.

After the post credit scene, we got our first teaser for the fifth episode of the season which you can view below:

What Happens In The ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2, Episode 5 Teaser?

The episode five promo, which lasts for about 30 seconds, opens with a Judomaster (Nhut Le) on a rooftop holding a sniper rifle. Rick Flag Sr asks “everyone have eyes” and we see Chris in the scope of the rifle. Judomaster says “Target in sight” and Rick Flag says “Take him out.” A shot is fired and Chris grabs someone for cover. “On the next Peacemaker” pops up on screen, Chris in the forest shouts Eagly’s name and we see Red Saint Wild (Michael Rooker) loading his gun ready to take aim.

Eagly screams and we cut to a shot of Emilia Harcourt at Rick Flag Jr’s memorial service. She says “All of this is about revenge for Chris having killed Rick Jr.” We see Rick Flag Sr holding Emilia’s shoulder before getting up from his seat. Sasha Bordeaux (Sol Rodríguez) is seen in the Cabin with another ARGUS agent. We cut to Rick Flag Sr saying “I have to that dimensional rift.” Chris is brought in for interrogation, he comes face to face with Rick Flag Sr. Chris says “Sir you have every right to be angry, Just got caught up in a dark way of looking at the world.” 

We see Chris with the Quantum Unfolding Chamber and a letter. We see a group of police vehicles as wel as Adrian Chase (Freddie Stroma) and Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) in a car which jumps above the road for a moment. Chris narrates “I’m not sure redemption is possible, at least not here.” He activates the Quantum Unfolding Chamber device and asks Eagly, “Ready for the next adventure pal,” Eagly answers and the two appear to walk into the portal. Finally, the Peacemaker logo appears, informing that new episodes drop every Thursday at 9:00 PM ET.

Peacemaker Season 2 is created by James Gunn and stars John Cena as Christopher Smith / Peacemaker, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt and more. The first four episodes are now streaming on HBO Max, the fifth episode premieres on September 18th at 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET.
