‘Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase’ Schedule for February 5th
Third-party developers will shine in the upcoming Nintendo Direct featuring games for the Nintendo Switch systems.
Last month, we were treated to two different kinds of Nintendo Directs. On January 25th, 2026 we saw the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct, which featured a new trailer for the film introducing Yoshi, a character teased during the post credit scene of The Super Mario Bros. Movie as well as a new release date, April 1st, 2026.
On January 29th, we saw the Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream Direct, which gave us an approximately 22-minute look at gameplay for the upcoming Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 title launching on April 16th, 2026.
This month Nintendo is set to kick off the year with a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase; we have the announcement and first details today. Unlike a general Nintendo Direct, a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase has a number of third party developers taking the spotlight, featuring anything from Triple-A to indie titles. Nintendo takes a backseat during these presentations, occasionally showing off one or two of their own titles.
The Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase is scheduled for February 5th, 2026, at 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET. The presentation will be roughly 30 minutes long and feature games for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 systems. You can view the presentation on Nintendo Today! What Happened In The Last Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase?
The last Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase aired over half a year ago on July 31st, 2025. The presentation lasted for about 28 minutes and featured a total of 26 games from a wide variety of developers. Nintendo themselves were also present, with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment being a first-party game. See a list of all the games and developers below:
