A new teaser for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 has been released. Watch it below.
As The Walking Dead universe continues to enamour audiences, it is only sensible that the team behind AMC’s zombie saga are working on even more entries into what has become arguably the most iconic depiction of the undead. As the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, subtitled The Book of Carol, was airing, the team behind the series had returned to film a third instalment of the show. The first footage from this new season was shown directly after the finale of The Book of Carol, showing a change in tone. Watch the new teaser below:
As you can see, as the series shifts its location from France towards London, a new tone for the show has been set. Set to the tune of SATV Music’s “Trouble”, the series takes on an almost Western tone, complete with horseback riding. We also see our first looks at Stephen Merchant and Óscar Jaenada.
Returning in the upcoming season are leads Daryl, played again by Norman Reedus, and Carol, played by Melissa McBride. The finale for the second season, which aired today, left Daryl and Carol London bound, leaving behind the setting of France and Paris where the last two seasons of the series have been set.
We reviewed the latest season, saying The Book of Carol “works enough as a continuation to the story of these characters, and the way it ends up has me excited for the third season of the show, but if the plot doesn’t change drastically next season (which I can’t see why it would stay the same), things will become stale fast.” Read our full review.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon stars Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier, Stephen Merchant and Óscar Jaenada. The third season is expected to air in 2025. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol is now streaming on AMC and AMC+.
