New ‘Pokémon Concierge’ Season 2 Trailer: A Man And His Sealeo
Haru meets an unexpected visitor, Kent and learns about the story of Sealeo in a new trailer for Pokémon Concierge.
Talks between Netflix and The Pokémon Company began all the way back in 2019. What started as a 2D animated project quickly shifted to stop-motion after a suggestion from a Netflix Japan animator. After many years of hard work, the initial episodes of Pokémon Concierge premiered on Netflix and were given high praise. This led to the announcement of a second season during Pokémon Day, slated for release in September 2025.
Today, during the July Pokémon Presents, we received a new trailer for the second season alongside a release date of September 4th. You can view the trailer below:
What Happens in the Pokémon Concierge Season 2 Trailer?

The trailer opens with Haru walking with Psyduck, Shinx and Luxray. She narrates the trailer, telling someone that this island is dedicated to allowing Pokémon to have as much fun as they like. We see a few glimpses of other Pokémon on the island as well as a shot of Alisa and Tyler. Continuing on, we see a moment where a group of Diglett disturbs a freshly planted crop and Haru is shocked.
Haru is then seen decorating Eevee’s hair and we see a glimpse of Ms. Watanabe. Haru has fallen to the ground and someone helps her up, the character is revealed as Kent which the trailer implies is her ex-boyfriend. Coupled with some background music, we see shots of various Pokémon and Haru explaining that coming to this island really helped her.
We see Tyler chasing after a Sealeo with the assistance of Pansage, Pansear and Panpour. We meet a new character, Dan who’s related to Sealeo for around fifteen years. Dan explains how Sealeo has brought him immense happiness over the years and he sheds a tear. The trailer continues with various Pokémon, some of Haru’s interactions with Dan. Haru and Kent hold hands but Psyduck quickly intervenes.

Pokémon Concierge is directed by Iku Ogawa and stars Karen Fukuhara as Haru, Imani Hakim as Alisa, Josh Keaton as Tyler, and Lori Alan as Ms. Watanabe. Season 2 premieres on Netflix on September 4th.
