‘Marvel Rivals’ First Look At Gambit & Rogue

Another week has passed and it’s time for a new set of Marvel Rivals patch notes, this being one of the final updates during the second half of Season 4. The update, which is set for release on November 6th at 1:00 AM PST / 4:00 AM EST will feature the “Dog Brother X” Costume Bundle for Wolverine, the epic rarity skin will hit the item shop on November 6th at 7:00 PM PST / 10:00 PM EST. Hero fixes for Wolverine and Daredevil will also be released. Gambit & Rogue are finally coming to Marvel Rivals.

Additionally, the Zombies mode will see some updates, including hero reworks as well as new rewards for the game mode which will now leave on December 5th at 1:00 AM PST / 4:00 AM EST (Previously set to leave at the end of the season on November 14th). 

With all that out of the way, it’s time to discuss the 44th and 45th Marvel Rivals characters who will be added between November and December. 

Gambit & Rogue Teased In Latest Patch Notes

While the patch notes may seem normal at first, fans quickly noticed that the thumbnail revealed the character designs for Gambit and Rogue, who were previously teased in the final gallery card for Season 4, Gallery Card #6 – “Raising The Stakes”. The following description was given for the two:

PS — As someone who has hosted many tournaments in my day, I do hope that you have plans to keep these heroes in line should they decide to deviate from the rules. They have a tendency to do so, I’ve found. And if you play your cards right and they don’t drain every last bit of your life force, I may make an appearance at your next tournament myself…

The thumbnail which can be found on the official game website’s news section shows Gambit on the left with Rogue on the right holding a rose. From what can be seen both characters look very comic accurate with no noticeable differences. While their roles are yet to be revealed we should learn about them soon as we are just days away from the game’s fifth season.

Marvel Rivals is developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox Series X|S. Downtime for Season 5 begins on November 14th at 2:00 PM PST / 5:00 PM EST.
