Mark Wahlberg & Kit Harington Fight On Bus For ‘The Family Plan 2’
London IS calling, with Mark Wahlberg kicking ass on set of The Family Plan 2, against probable foe Kit Harington.
Feature First has obtained footage of actors Mark Wahlberg and Kit Harington on the set of Apple TV+’s The Family Plan 2.
When The Family Plan first debuted on Apple TV+ back in 2023, nobody expected it to be as big as it became and now filming is currently underway for the sequel in Westminster, London. While plot details are few, Feature First can exclusively confirm that Kit Harington, actor best known as Jon Snow in HBO’s Game of Thrones, will be playing an antagonist in the film, with new footage showcasing a fight between Mark Wahlberg’s Dan Morgan and Kit Harington’s unnamed character.
The fight takes place on the upper deck of a double-decker bus, one of the most famous aspects of tourism in London, England. Filming for the scene was extensive, with half of Westminster in restricted traffic for the production of the upcoming film. Watch exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the fight below:
The Family Plan followed Mark Wahlberg as former top assassin Dan Morgan who now lives a normal life with a family (played by Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, and Van Crosby) but soon has to face his past forcing him and his family onto a dangerous road trip. The sequel, as reported by Deadline Hollywood, will take the family to Europe on a Christmas holiday, but things don’t go as perfectly as planned.
Kit Harington boarded the project back in December 2024 in an exclusive from Deadline, although no details regarding his role were shared.
Simon Cellan Jones returns to direct The Family Plan 2, from a script by David Coggeshall. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Kit Harington, Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, and Van Crosby. The film is expected to debut on Apple TV+ soon.
