Lili Taylor’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Role Has Been Revealed

Last Week saw the premiere of the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Teaser Trailer. The teaser followed  Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) as they get ready to face off against Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) Anti-Vigilante Task Force with the help of Jessica Jones (Kristen Ritter). Alongside many other surprises, such as Foggy Nelson (though it’s unclear if it’s present day or a flashback). 

Today, we’ll discuss Lili Taylor’s role in the upcoming season following the launch of the Daredevil: Born Again Media Kit.

Lili Taylor Is Governor Marge McCaffrey in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2

While filming was ongoing for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, Deadline reported Taylor’s casting on March 27th, 2025 describing her character as a political foe to D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk similarly to fellow newcomer, Matthew Lillard who plays another foe and original character, Mister Charles. Both will be recurring characters in the show.

We had our first look at Lili’s character back in December during the Entertainment 2026 Preview. Per the official Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Media Kit, Lili Taylor will play Governor Marge McCaffrey. Like Lillard’s Mister Charles, she will be an original character in the series that Wilson Fisk will have to face off against throughout the series. 

Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Lili Taylor as Governor Marge McCaffrey and more. The Second Season premieres on Disney+ on March 24th, 2026.
