IT: Welcome to Derry serves as a prequel to the It films. Bill Skarsgard reprises his role as Pennywise in the series. Outside of him, the rest of the cast is completely new.

Set in the world of Stephen King’s “IT” universe, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is based on King’s “IT” novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films “IT” and “IT Chapter Two.”

The series is created by Andy and Barbara Muschietti, the duo behind Mama, It, The Flash, and Jason Fuchs, who wrote Argylle and I Still See You. Andy Muschietti directed the first 4 episodes of the series.
