Prime Video’s hit animated series, Invincible, has just received its first teaser trailer ahead of its season 3 release on February 6, 2025.
Last year, Invincible’s second season suffered a split release, infuriating fans and killing the viewership momentum of the series. While the season still received critical acclaim, it seems the Invincible team wants to make amends. Today, Prime Video released a full teaser detailing where season 3 might head, as well as some meta-commentary regarding the release and production strategy of the season.
The teaser is inspired by the Burger Mart location within the universe and features Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) and Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins) meeting months after the shocking finale of the second season. They discuss plans for the future and how to mount Invincible as a defence ahead of a promised Viltrumite invasion.
The teaser also includes a meta-commentary on audiences complaining about the release gap between seasons. It shows behind-the-scenes footage of Yeun recording voice lines for Grayson, as well as the scripting and animating processes. Finally, the teaser ends with the release date for the series, February 6, but not without a last witty comment, stating “(WITH NO MIDSEASON BREAK)”, assuring fans that it’ll be a consecutive season.
