‘Hytale’ Early Access Pre-Orders Now Live

The moment has finally arrived, for the first time ever players can pre-order Hytale on the game’s official website starting today. The voxel-based survival crafting game was reacquired by Hypixel Studios last month on November 17th and throughout the weeks we’ve seen various updates about the game including gameplay, system requirements, game editions, the early access release date and more. We’ll be discussing how to pre-order the game and recapping some of the essential information today.

How To Pre-Order ‘Hytale’

What better way to start than learning how to pre-order Hytale, please note you will need to create a Hytale Account before purchasing the game. See a list of steps below:

1. Head to the official Hytale website.
2. Log into your Account by selecting the Login button at the top right of the home page.
3. Select the “Pre-Purchase” button on the top right of the account screen.
4. On the Store Page, scroll down and select the edition of Hytale you want to purchase.
5. A pop-up will appear notifying you that you are purchasing an Early Access version of the game.
6. Select “I Understand” at the bottom of the pop-up.
7. Enter your payment information and select checkout.
8. Pick between using your already reserved username or enter a new one.

How Much Does ‘Hytale’ Cost?

There are three editions of Hytale, Standard, Supporter and Cursebreaker (Founder) with prices ranging from $19.99 USD to $69.99 USD. Each edition comes with their own set of exclusive rewards which you can see a breakdown of below:

Compared to when we first detailed what each edition of Hytale contains, there are new additions to each. Including the Savanna Scout Set in the Standard Edition, Explorer Goggles in the Supporter Edition and Voidbearer Set in the Cursebreaker Edition.

Please note, these Game Editions are only available for the Early Access period and you can upgrade your edition to a higher tier at any time.

When Does ‘Hytale’ Release In Early Access?

Hytale launches into Early Access on January 13th, 2026 a month after pre-orders. The game will be available on PCs running Windows through the game’s native launcher. Mac and Linux versions are in the works with Console ports coming much later in development.

What Content Is Included In ‘Hytale’ At Launch?

Due to the game being in Early Access you should first off expect a lot of bugs, as the pop-up before purchasing also states, the content may also differ from the final version of the game. See a list of what you can expect when Hytale launches in Early Access below:

Exploration Mode – Players will be able to play through the game’s survival mode, it’s expected that players can progress in the first zone with more zones being added throughout development.

Creative Mode – The mode where players can have infinite resources and do almost anything their imagination can dream of will also be available. In addition to placing materials / blocks one-by-one there are a number of brush presets that can be adjusted to the player’s needs.

Modding & Creative Tools – Modders, Server Owners, and Creators will be able to use these in-game tools to create anything their heart desires. They will also be able to run their own servers.

Gliders – A very early version of the glider will be made available in Early Access which players can use to help navigate across the world. It’s unclear if the Glider uses Stamina at this time.

Hytale is developed by Hypixel Studios, the game is set to launch in Early Access for PC on January 13th, 2026. Pre-Orders are now live.
