One of comedy’s finest stars, Ben Stiller, is set to return to one of his most iconic roles in Happy Gilmore 2.
While filming in New Jersey, a familiar face was spotted on the set of the latest Adam Sandler film, Happy Gilmore 2. When Happy Gilmore premiered, nearly 30 years ago, Ben Stiller’s Orderly Hal captivated fans for his hilarious treatment of the elderly, playing with absurdist and dark humour. Now, the character is back with Stiller being spotted on set by paparazzi. He’s sporting salt and pepper hair, with a matching moustache.
Stiller and Sandler have had a history of working together, from the original Happy Gilmore, to pseudo-sequel Hubie Halloween, to the dramatic The Meyerowitz Stories. He joins Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, Bad Bunny, Nick Swardson, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, and Kid Cudi. Travis Kelce, Eminem and John Daly will also cameo in the film.
Kid Cudi’s Role In ‘Happy Gilmore 2’
A new report suggests that rapper Scott Mescudi, better known by his stage name Kid Cudi, will be playing an FBI agent in the upcoming Netflix film. Jeff Sneider, of The InSneider, broke the news that he will be playing an FBI agent who conducts a raid on a church where an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is being held.
The role sounds similar to Cudi’s role in the 2024 miniseries Knuckles, where he also played an agent. It’s likely he will serve as a minor antagonist and could possibly arrest Happy himself (Adam Sandler).
Happy Gilmore 2 is directed by Kyle Newacheck and stars Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, Bad Bunny, Nick Swardson, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, and Kid Cudi.
