The announcement trailer, which lasts for 46 seconds, opens with a montage of gameplay. Thursday, Spring 4th: our protagonist is walking through the rain holding a lantern. Saturday, Spring 6th: our character is running through the town on a sunny day. Monday, Spring 15th: we are now in a swamp, the character is holding a pickaxe. Next up, we meet one of the residents, Hari, who says “…You don’t really look like the “crops and tilling fields” type. In response, we’re given the option to tell Hari we either bought the farm, inherited it or the answer is none of his business.

Next up on Monday, Spring 1st we’re seen planting some crops on a river and later on a mountain. We see some of the foraging mechanics, including the player picking up ginseng and chopping down a tree. Tomas is the next resident we meet who says, “You never know who you can trust in this town. Pickaxe in hand, we explore someone’s home at night, we meet Kaarina who says, “Around here, people lock their doors for a reason.” Which then transitions to a lockpicking minigame.

We break into Leilani’s house, who shouts, “What are you doing in my house?! LEAVE!” On another day we meet Noa who says, “The mayor has been asking about you…” In the next scene Mayor Fitch, at our farm says, “…Got some paperwork for you to fill out… Old back tax to pay off…” We then enter the library and meet the librarian Rose, who happens to be a ghost. She says, “OH! You spooked me!” The mystery of the game kicks in as we enter the mayor’s office, our character appears shocked as they find the Mayor dead. The Grave Seasons logo appears with an updated release date of summer 2026.

Compared to the reveal trailer back in June, the game has seen some changes namely in the UI and where some conversations are set.
