‘Fortnite’ x ‘Star Wars’: Galactic Battle Pass Lineup Revealed
We’re just a week away from the next season of Fortnite and today, the lineup for the Star Wars battle pass has been revealed.
This year, Fortnite celebrates Star Wars Day in a big way by featuring a month-long season dedicated to the franchise. This new season, titled “Galactic Battle,” begins in one week on May 2nd, 2025 and features various vehicles, skins, items and more inspired by the Star Wars films and series. To mark the occasion, the battle pass lineup has been revealed ahead of the season’s release.
Who’s In The Fortnite x Star Wars Battle Pass?
A shorter season means a smaller battle pass, as such the Fortnite x Star Wars pass will feature 5 character skins (3 less than the usual 8 found in other battle passes). The Galactic Battle pass will feature 3 characters from the films: Poe Dameron, Emperor Palpatine and General Grievous as well as 2 “mashup” characters: Jedi / Sith Evie and Wookie Cuddle Team Leader.
Poe Dameron is a former member of the Spice Runners of Kijimi, he later becomes a pilot in the New Republic and eventually joins the Resistance, rising to become acting General of the Resistance. Poe makes his live-action debut in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and is played by Oscar Isaac.
Sheev Palpatine was a Dark Lord of the Sith and Emperor of the Galactic Empire. He assumed two identities, Emperor Palpatine and Darth Sidious to further his goals. Sheev makes his live-action debut in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and is played by Ian McDiarmid.
General Grievous was a Kaleesh warlord who served as a commanding officer in the military branch of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Grievous was known to instill fear throughout the galaxy as he invaded numerous planets and fought off Knights of the Jedi Order. Grievous makes his live-action debut in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and is voiced by Matthew Wood.
Jedi / Sith Evie is one of the mashup characters for the upcoming season, combining the concept of Jedi and Sith with Evie, a character who first appeared in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3: Vibin’ which coincidentally is the same season where Darth Vader became an unlockable character in the battle pass. Evie was part of an in-game faction known as the Peace Syndicate.
Wookie Cuddle Team Leader is the second confirmed mashup character combining the concept of Wookies with the Cuddle Team Leader. Cuddle Team Leader is one of the original characters for the game, first appearing in Fortnite Chapter 1, Season 2.
How Many Levels Do I Need To Finish The Fortnite x Star Wars Battle Pass?
We’ve previously had month-long seasons during the Fortnite Chapter 4: Season OG and Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix. During those seasons, players were tasked with hitting level 50 for the main battle pass and an additional 50 levels for the bonus rewards, making for a total of 100 levels. It’s likely that Fortnite x Star Wars: Galactic Battle will follow a similar level requirement.

What About The Other Star Wars Skins?
The official teaser for Fortnite x Star Wars: Galactic Battle teased a few other skins, Darth Jar Jar, a Mandalorian-type character, and Mace Windu. Official promo art for the new season also introduced us to Captain Phasma. With these characters not being part of the battle pass lineup, it’s clear that the characters and their respective cosmetics will be available through the Fortnite Item Shop.
Darth Jar Jar is a parody version of the character first appearing in Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III. In this parody, Darth Jar Jar was responsible for the fall of the Republic and the rise of Emperor Palpatine. In both live-action and this parody, Jar Jar is voiced by Ahmed Best.
The Mandalorians are a group of different species following the same creed, language and code originating from the planet Mandalore. They are described as mercenaries and bounty hunters who played major roles throughout galactic history.
Mace Windu was a Jedi Master and member of the Jedi High Council. He was known as the greatest champion of the Jedi Order and kept its ancient traditions alive despite the ongoing threat of the dark side. Mace Windu makes his live-action debut in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and is played by Samuel L. Jackson.
Captain Phasma is a stormtrooper captain of the First Order. She was raised on Parnassos where she became a formidable warrior and eventually the clan’s military leader. In an effort to go offworld, Phasma helped the First Order General Brendol Hux find his ship, thus betraying her own brother and the rest of her clan. Phasma makes her live-action debut in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and is played by Gwendoline Christie.
